The ElumTools Emergency Luminaire parameter is a shared parameter that exists in the ElumTools shared parameters file. Often it can be desirable to associate these to flex with other family parameters.  Here's how.

1. Navigate to the location of the ElumTools shared parameters file.

2. Open your family in the Revit family editor and designate the ElumTools shared parameters file as the current shared parameters file.

3. Add the Emergency Parameter to your Family.  Note there is both a type and an instance parameter so be mindful of which one you are using.
