Checking out a license:

• From the Tools menu in the client application, select Installation License Manager.
• Select the Check Out License button.
• Each time the license is started it will display a counter. You may check the license in at any time when reconnected to your network.

The ability for network clients to use license checkout is controlled from the LAI Network Service application on the server. The default (and maximum) checkout period is 30-days. It is important for clients to use the check-in process rather than let the checkout period expire. An expired license will eventually rejoin the license pool but it may take several hours. An expired client license will need to be re-registered as a Network-client License by entering the server IP address.
