Certain Revit settings can prevent ElumTools from being able to switch between calculation modes (General Use, Emergency, Daylighting, Horticulture).

When you attempt to switch from one mode to another, does this parameter in the Visibility parameters of the Floor Plan change? If that parameter isn't changing, it might be because there's a permission setting preventing ElumTools from changing this parameter. Please make sure that ElumTools can edit this. Setting worksets to Editable could fix this. If you can change this manually to Emergency that might fix it too. It could even be a View Template setting preventing it from changing properly.

If you have a View Template applied, try unchecking the ElumTools settings.
