  2. Apply to all first level clones (clone 1 for each file loaded)
  3. Make any other changes: filename, [ISSUEDATE], [LUMCAT]
  4. Apply Changes and Refresh

Saving Your Work

You can make numerous changes to your files using the Factor Files worksheet approach. From a workflow perspective, you could make several changes and then click the Apply Changes and Refresh button, then continue working with additional changes. Or, you might make all the changes at once and then apply. Regardless, your changes ARE NOT saved outside of Photometric Power Tools until you elect to do so from the File menu selections in the Viewer/Editor dialog

Pasting Factors

You can paste a column of factors from MS-Excel into the Factor columns in Photometric Power Tools. You cannot paste a row of factors.

To paste multiple values from Excel:

  1. Select and copy (Ctrl+C) a column (not row) of values from Excel.
  2. Select the starting cell (top) in the Photometric Power Tools - Factor Files worksheet.
  3. Exit the text edit mode by pressing ESC. If the software remains in edit mode, only the first value will be pasted into the selected cell. You must exit the edit mode before pasting.
  4. Paste values by pressing Ctrl+V. The column of values copied from Excel will be pasted into the column in the worksheet.
